We are currently seeking an Assistant Superintendent in Atlanta, GA for a wood-frame project located in Gwinnett County. to join our family.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Inspection of Contractor or (sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with Contract
  • Prepare and submit Superintendents Daily Reports
  • Demonstrate commitment to an Injury-Free Environment through own actions and mentoring others
  • Develop and maintain logistics plan, in coordination with Project Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Monitor costs, including labor time and material
  • Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
  • Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings
  • Conduct quality inspections
  • Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients, including representatives of Owner and Architect/Engineer
  • Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
  • Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
  • Review and approve Trade Contractor Payment Applications with Project Superintendent and Project Manager
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, employees). Maintain relationship to ensure needs are met and problems/conflicts are resolved.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
